Mental Performance Coaching
Source is pleased to offer Mental Performance Coaching to its Secondary School athletes as well as Outreach athletes. A Mental Performance Coach works with individuals or groups/teams to enhance mental and emotional skills to achieve peak performance.
Kiah Sundermeir, MA, LAT, ATC
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Kiah graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s in Kinesiology from San Jose State University.
Kiah began working with Cambridge High School in 2021. In addition to her education, she currently holds multiple credentials in the field of Sports Medicine, including First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, Tecnica Gavilan, Y-balance, and Functional Movement Screen Level 1.
Currently, Kiah is working on her Mental Performance Consultant Certification. To become certified, candidates have to complete specific coursework spanning both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as complete 450 mentored hours. After completion of these requirements, candidates can apply to sit for the Certification Exam. Kiah has completed all of her education and is working on her hours.
